# CSM `stakeShareLimit` increase to 7.5% of Lido TVL Recent months have been a massive success for the Lido Community Staking Module (CSM)! With the [release of CSM v2](https://vote.lido.fi/vote/192) in October 2025 and a further increase in [Lido deposits](https://x.com/d_gusakov/status/1999401900219978077), CSM has [reached](https://operators.lido.fi/module/3) the current `stakeShareLimit` of 5%. Changes in the CSM fee structure introduced in CSM v2 resulted in a [meaningful rise](https://dune.com/queries/6016678) (from 4% to 6.1%) in Lido DAO revenue obtained via CSM while keeping CSM the most attractive home staking solution on the market, both in terms of rewards and UX. **With all that said, and given the [previously approved](https://snapshot.org/#/s:lido-snapshot.eth/proposal/0xc3f92bcdf8926cfa7528ca6a979c0fdce1e4d0cfaaa72dd6410a76a2e1e55766) CSM `stakeShareLimit` increase up to 10%, it is proposed to take a gradual approach to `stakeShareLimit` increase and set the following parameters for CSM in one of the first on-chain votes in 2026:** - **`stakeShareLimit=750 BPS`** (7.5%) - **`priorityExitShareThreshold=900 BPS` (`stakeShareLimit * 1.2` or 9%)** This will result in an increase of the CSM `stakeShareLimit` to 7.5% of Lido TVL, while maintaining the `priorityExitShareThreshold` (the share of TVL after which CSM is prioritized for exits to fulfill withdrawals) at a safe level.
