# Easy Track setup for reWARDS in stETH

## Context

In the [**[LIDO-v2] May 1, 2023 - December 31, 2023 | Lido Ongoing Grant Request**](https://research.lido.fi/t/lido-v2-may-1-2023-december-31-2023-lido-ongoing-grant-request/4476) post it was proposed to switch reWARDS payments from LDO to stETH and reduce the budget to the amount equal to 4m DAI.

The effective amount of stETH will be calculated on the basis of a dollar value, once a month, based on the prevailing market price. If a discount on the market rate to ETH is present, DAI from Aragon treasury will be used to acquire stETH first.

This proposal was supported in the [snapshot vote](https://snapshot.org/#/lido-snapshot.eth/proposal/0xdf57d5600ca8c0485a17de035afffe3b918e6059a6ba10bec71fb04f4041b41d).

## Proposal

It’s proposed to deploy a new setup of contracts ([TopUpAllowedRecipients](https://github.com/lidofinance/easy-track/blob/develop/contracts/EVMScriptFactories/TopUpAllowedRecipients.sol), [AddAllowedRecipient](https://github.com/lidofinance/easy-track/blob/develop/contracts/EVMScriptFactories/AddAllowedRecipient.sol), [RemoveAllowedRecipient](https://github.com/lidofinance/easy-track/blob/develop/contracts/EVMScriptFactories/RemoveAllowedRecipient.sol) and [AllowedRecipientsRegistry](https://github.com/lidofinance/easy-track/blob/develop/contracts/AllowedRecipientsRegistry.sol)) for further integration with Easy Track.

With these factories it will be possible to transfer funds from the Treasury under a security limit: 2100 stETH for every 3 months.

The following parameters are proposed for the new setup:

The current setup for reWARDS in LDO will be disconnected from Easy Track when not needed.

[On-chain vote](https://vote.lido.fi/vote/160) intended to add new deployed factories for stETH to the Easy Track registry (vote items 9-11) and remove factories for LDO (vote items 12-14) passed and [was executed](https://etherscan.io/tx/0x66f156b9ff57174e514a06c1fa9e0306fd6ea9208b676a3e27d70ee3241f8e5e) on the 30th of June
