# Establishment of the Guild for Review and Assessment of Protocols and Applications – GRAPPA

Thank you for this question! I am always happy to see delegates involved in governance and budget discussions.  
So, regarding the costs:

- the exact cost is being negotiated, but it is expected to be a small fraction of the hired security budget (~10-15%)
- you are right; the potential GRAPPA budget would be proposed via the EGG process, but for the pilot, the idea is to use the leftovers from the [EGG 2024 v2](https://research.lido.fi/t/egg-st2024-v2-continuity-grant-funding-to-achieve-goose-goals/).

The former might look suboptimal from the process perspective, but it looks necessary to the Audit Committee to support the ongoing Alliance/NEC activities.
