No funds are at risk, and the token remains fully functional, so holders of wstETH on Starknet are not affected. During the final step of transferring governance roles from the Starknet Foundation to the Lido DAO, the process was not carried out correctly. As a result, the [wstETH token](https://starkscan.co/token/0x042b8f0484674ca266ac5d08e4ac6a3fe65bd3129795def2dca5c34ecc5f96d2) on Starknet has become irreversibly ownerless and non-upgradeable, which no longer aligns with Lido’s bridging [guidelines](https://research.lido.fi/t/unofficial-guidelines-for-bridging-solutions-network-expansion-workgroup/5790) or the original [proposal](https://research.lido.fi/t/wsteth-deployment-on-starknet/6335). We invite the proposer to provide a retrospective explaining what happened and how to prevent similar issues in the future.
