I don’t think the low participation and quorum unmet are solely due to the short onchain voting period. Instead, we should take action to notify people when an onchain proposals go live, like setting alerts or keeping active. I understand it’s tough for those busy with conferences, but the operation team has done a great job managing the community and keeping everyone updated on upcoming proposals.
I agree with @zuzu_eeka that the DAO might be forced to wait out the full voting duration in case of an emergency. What we really need now is to encourage quicker and better participation. Simply extending the voting time may not be the solution.
