# Optimizing Lido On-chain Voting Timelines for Inclusive Governance

Thank you for the proposal!

In my view, voting timings should be revised based on the [recently implemented on-chain delegation availability](https://research.lido.fi/t/lip-21-simple-on-chain-delegation/6840/34), so aligned on this completely.

However, for the same purpose, I’d suggest extending the objection window duration from 24 hours to 48-72 hours to mitigate the risks of the narrowly coordinated governance vote takeover (see the recent dramatic events chain: [Compound Governance Attack Reveals Inherent Vulnerabilities Of DAOs - "The Defiant"](https://thedefiant.io/news/defi/compound-governance-attack-reveals-inherent-vulnerabilities-of-daos))
