# Rated Labs Replacement in the Oracle Set

I would like to point out that the goal of expanding the Oracle Set from 5 to 9 oracles “[Expansion of Lido's Ethereum Oracle set](https://research.lido.fi/t/expansion-of-lidos-ethereum-oracle-set/2836)” was to add independent 3rd party oracles to the existing 5 oracles, which also acted as node operators.

Rated Labs joined the oracle set in that round, so I would like the new oracle to also be 3rd party and not act as a node operator for the Lido protocol.
