# Rationalizing Liquidity Observation Lab & Rewards Share Committee: Growth Committee

**Background**

Lido DAO [have approved](https://snapshot.box/#/s:lido-snapshot.eth/proposal/0x7f72f12d72643c20cd0455c603d344050248e75ed1074c8391fae4c30f09ca15) that Lido Ecosystem Foundation (the “ **Foundation** ”) oversees and legally “wraps” Liquidity Observation Lab (” **LOL** ”) and Rewards Share Committee.

LOL is responsible for managing the distribution of liquidity incentives ([forum post](https://research.lido.fi/t/liquidity-observation-lab-lol-liquidity-strategy-and-application-to-curve-steth-eth-pool/5335)) and the Rewards Share Committee is responsible for administering the Rewards Share Program ([forum post](https://research.lido.fi/t/rewards-share-program-2024/6812)).

**Introduction of the Growth Committee**

For operational efficiency and given the overlap in shared objectives, the Foundation has decided to combine LOL and Rewards Share Committee into a single committee called the “ **Growth Committee** ”. The goals and activities of the Growth Committee will remain the same as before, only combined.

The Growth Committee members shall be as follows:

**Multisig and Easy Track Setups Continuity** The existing multisigs used by the [Liquidity Observation Lab](https://docs.lido.fi/multisigs/committees#28-liquidity-observation-lab-lol-multisigs-prev-rewards) and the [Rewards Share Committee](https://docs.lido.fi/multisigs/committees#22-rewards-share-committee-prev-referral-program-committee) will remain unchanged, as will the existing validated budgets granted by the DAO.

Existing [Easy Track setups](https://docs.lido.fi/deployed-contracts/#easy-track-factories-for-token-transfers) relating to LOL and the Rewards Share Committee do not currently require any updates and will continue to function as before.
