Thoughts on increasing LDO empowerment

As we know, the current profitability of LIDO is very good. But LDO doesn’t seem to have any empowerment. Can we consider adding empowerment to LDO, such as long-term dividends, entrusted voting, etc., just like you hold stocks?
Similarly, it is recommended to add the pledge function of LDO. Although lido is a chain pledge platform, it is undeniable that a pledge function can be added to LDO. This pledge function can be used to obtain a certain percentage of dividends or other,
anyway we have to think of a good way to add empowerment to tokens that we currently have no function
If you have good ideas, please share them below, thank you

Hey-hey, thank you for the note!
The gist is, giving LDO more “functions”, in a very broad sense, is building tokenomics. That’s a major undertaking with valuable result, but I wouldn’t expect fast turnaround here: the main focus of the most Lido DAO contributor teams is on decentralisation efforts, developing withdrawals process (The Lido on Ethereum V2 upgrade) and designing more resilient governance framework (LDO+stETH dual governance)
