# Why not bring back stSOL? p2p is still doing it

@AbelTesfaye2023 have any of the reasons that led to [sunsetting](https://research.lido.fi/t/lido-on-solana-funding-proposal/5371) Lido on Solana changed?

Why should Lido turnaround on this decision? Hype about Solana alone is not a good reason.
