Ahead of the CSM v2 launch, Lido contributors are preparing an on-chain vote to raise stakeShareLimit
to 3 %, start a “grace period” with free-of-charge key removal from the deposit queue, and introduce a simplified CSVerifier
. In practice, the new verifier wouldn’t affect node operators—the only change is method removal. The removed method has never been used and would otherwise require extra hard-fork maintenance to handle edge cases in the scope of the forthcoming CSM v2 upgrade vote.
Mixbytes will publish a GRAPPA verification note covering the vote’s structure and the deployment artifacts for the simplified contract.
