Establishment of a Dedicated Bug Bounty Reserve Multisig

The Lido Labs Foundation (LLF) intends to establish a new Gnosis Safe multisig wallet to manage a dedicated reserve for the Lido Bug Bounty program, accessible at https://lido.fi/bug-bounty.

Currently, all qualified bounty payments are disbursed from the Lido Labs operational multisig.

This modification is intended to achieve the following objectives:

  • Ensure the provision of a dedicated fund for the bug bounty program, commensurate with the amount budgeted in the current EGG proposal (sufficient to cover one critical-level report plus a reserve for minor reports, totaling the equivalent to $2,500,000).

  • Enhance transparency and accountability by maintaining a distinct and readily available pool of funds.

  • The reserve is to be held in sUSDS (or an alternative token in accordance with TMC decisions) to generate rewards and mitigate the overall costs of the bug bounty program.

The proposed signatories for the new multisig will largely mirror those of the Lido Labs Foundation’s operational multisig, with the substitution of @UniteTheClans by @Nick.
