As outlined in the Reevaluation of Lido on Polygon State, Lido on Polygon has entered its sunset phase. As a result, Polygon will no longer participate in governance for this part of the protocol, and the Lido on Polygon multisig will be reserved solely for emergency actions.

In light of this transition, a signer rotation will take place to enhance flexibility: Hamzah (with address 0xF20825cab04cc430Fe941eaa9C2Ae6b9DA9bc3B5) and Aishwary (with address 0xc156C57231a9302D9f5C7b5eF22871cC25F40736) will be rotated for @Marin and @tamtamchik. Requests from the new signers to be added to the multisig, including addresses and their verification, will be posted later in this thread.

After this rotation and moving forward, the signer set will consist exclusively of Lido Contributors. With only occasional emergencies and a limited set of operational duties, this streamlined composition is better suited for simplifying the quorum-gathering process and ensuring a quick response for transaction signing.

If LDO does not have many real-world applications beyond governance and cannot break free from its dependence on ETH, its growth potential will be very limited. If staking on ETH ceases, will LDO still hold any value?
