TRP allocations are trackable on-chain and visible via the TRP dashboard.
In governance terms, there is no change, Lido Labs Foundation will retain the same rights to amend the TRP’s terms as those previously held by the Grants Association. The key difference is that the TRP will now align with Lido Labs Foundation’s standard budgeting cadence and reporting requirements, which introduce a yearly reporting obligation. Additionally, under Lido Labs Foundation’s bylaws, the DAO has the ability to intervene through the Emergency Supervisor role, ensuring greater oversight and accountability.

Pleased to see an agreement pushed forward.

I’m more happy to see however that the TRP now has clear ownership with Labs.

In general I’m happy to see cost cutting, focus, and trying to be more lean. I do think the work has only just begun in that sense. It should be a part of the DAO’s culture!

After reviewing the revised proposal to transfer the Token Rewards Plan (TRP) to Lido Labs Foundation and amend its terms, we are supportive and have voted FOR.

The compromise between financial and business judgment and the community and fairness seems to be much more aligned in the latest version by balancing discipline on total allocation and recognizing the trade-offs between short-term incentives and long-term sustainability. For us this is constructive governance evolution that should be positively viewed by the market as well.

We echo the community’s emphasis on continued transparency and simplification — principles that have strengthened other parts of the organisation too.

I voted YES

This proposal has both positive and controversial aspects:
What’s positive:

  • there’s no burden on the budget - everything remains within the established framework
  • we discussed various solutions with the community and put a compromise to a vote
    What could have been improved:
  • a second obvious option could have been proposed - increasing the budget at the expense of the treasury, so that the DAO had a choice

Despite the lack of such a choice, I support this decision
