It seems almost most curated operators have raised to 60M to Hoodi, and Hoodi itself has been at ~60M network-wide for a week or so without any cause for concern, so I think it’s okay for operators to start considering to raise on Mainnet as well, at their own pace and based on their own testing and upgrade schedules.

Sorry to late mention, DSRV increased the gas limit for Lido validators to 60M on Hoodi 2weeks ago

Kiln is using 60M on hoodi/sepolia, as well as mainnet for all non-Lido keys, happy to signal 60M as well for our Lido mainnet keys once there is a green light here

Hi, there isn’t a specific green light that needs to be given, but we do try to gauge community sentiment to stay informed about increases. Overall, I’ve seen positive sentiment around 60M, so that would be my suggestion as well.

I’m not sure y’all have been following the dev discussions in Berlin around gas limit.
45M is currently considered safe.
60M may require more client changes before it’s safe. Devs are asking for time to verify 60M is ok.

What’s the update on this? Core devs have signaled 45m gas limit and only 1 node operator seems to care.
That’s not the case, you can always check the dash for real-time info, approx 13% of stake through lido right now is signalling > 36M

After the Berlinterop events, we have a clearer picture on the safety of 45M gas limits. We support this sentiment at ChainSafe and Lodestar is currently testing its next release (v1.32.0) which will have 45M as the default gas limit. We expect this release early next week pending no issues and ChainSafe will deploy this stable release shortly afterwards. Expect us to be signalling 45M mid-next week.

We’re excited to share that Launchnodes has successfully increased the validator limit to 45 million for 1572 validators across our monitored nodes. The performance looks promising, and we’re closely monitoring the results.
Our aim is to gradually roll out this increased limit to all validators in the coming days through a phased and controlled approach. We’ll keep the community updated as we move forward.
