With the Fusaka upgrade, all Ethereum clients now ship with a default gas limit configuration. Because of this, we’d like to suggest a small change in how updates are shared in this thread.

At the moment, it appears that all operators are either already using the 60M default or planning to do so, although a few may still have older explicit config overrides in place that need to be updated or removed. To the operators on 45M we’ve reached out, deviations were simply due to ongoing config adjustments.

From now on, we suggested only deviations from the default gas limit need to be reported here, together with a short explanation of the rationale.

If there is no message from an operator, it can be assumed they are running the default configured gas limit.
