Custody of ETH - Who controls the keys?

Do we retain custody of our keys when we stake ETH with LIDO or does LIDO assume custody of our keys?

When staking your ETH with Lido, you won’t hold any keys (validator key and withdrawal credentials).
In the current Dao-curated module, Lido’s whitelisted Node Operators hold the validator keys while Lido DAO controls the withdrawal crendentials.
