What Is LEGO? For a quick reminder, LEGO, short for Lido Ecosystem Grants Organization, is an innovative initiative by Lido DAO. Its main goal is to support projects that enhance the Ethereum liquid staking ecosystem. Focused on efficiency, LEGO provides vital funding and resources to a diverse group of innovators—from builders to researchers—helping them turn their creative ideas into reality.

LEGO is more than just a funding source; it acts as a catalyst for innovation, essential for keeping Lido at the forefront of liquid staking protocols.

Highlights: Q3 2025

This past quarter, Q3 2025, saw several important grants awarded, including:

A total of DAI 115.6K was allocated to LEGO grants, amounting to 23% of the allotted quarterly budget.

What’s Next: Q4 2025

  • The LEGO budget is updated to be at DAI 250,000 level, with 100% DAI (or another USD stable coin) token composition;
  • Individual allowances from now on are also fixed at DAI 15,000 each quarter for LEGO Council members. If a LEGO member’s wallet holds a balance equal to or higher than the calculated allowance, it will not be refilled;

  • LEGO Nominees body is dissolved and members are asked to return the remaining grants pool to the Treasury - 0x3e40D73EB977Dc6a537aF587D48316feE66E9C8c. Thank you for your continuous efforts in making Ethereum ecosystem a better place for liquid staking and a future of DeFi!
