Node Operator Admission: Cryptonative Systems as stVault Basic Operator
Introduction
Who we are: Cryptonative Systems is an independent, off-cloud Ethereum ecosystem node and network infrastructure service provider. Cryptonative Systems is an SSV Verified Operator and continues to actively assist testing of test both SSV clients (Anchor and the core SSV client). We currently provide SDVT services for two Lido clusters. We also run production nodes and validation services for both Starknet and Aztec. We are proudly Venture Capital free.
Category assignment: Become Identified as a Tier-1 stVault Basic Operator.
Business Case
We wish to explore opportunities for enhanced yield within the Lido stVault ecosystem. We intend to assess both private and public vaults and will be exploring both standard client set ups and bringing our extensive DVT-enabled validator experience to bear for added resilience and security.
ETH sourcing potential: we have private clients keen to deploy funds to both established, curated vaults and to explore enhanced yield through looping strategies.
User segments: Initially, we will focus on our private clients first and establishing an evidence-based business case before considering whether we offer services to a wider audience.
Timelines: we have established, scalable infrastructure ready for immediate deployment. We can seed initial validators and scale rapidly but are likely to take a more measured approach until a suitable strategy has been proven before we iteratively scale.
Fee Policy: To be negotiated with our private clients. When and if we have a product to offer a wider audience, the services we offer will have competitive fees determined by the market.
Operations and Decentralization
Client Mix: We currently operate with 5 execution and 4 consensus clients in production with more planned and follow a slow-rollout policy to eliminate bugs and performance issues. Additionally, we have hands-on production experience with SSV Network and intend to use a full SSV base suite of clients.
Infrastructure Footprint: We operate from alarmed and camera-surveilled premises using bare-metal servers and a bespoke, security hardened, highly modular architecture.
Jurisdictional Spread: Currently the UK, but with potential and aspirations for multijurisdictional reach.
MEV Posture: We utilise both MEV and commit-boost and our MEV instances support all major relays.
Decentralisation Alignment: In spite of the incentives, we currently continue to choose not to use Cloud infrastructure – we will continue to be decentralisation maxis as long as we are able to justify the additional expenditure.
Additional Information
Performance and Monitoring: Both our self-managed nodes and validators and our SSV supercluster consistently rank highly for uptime and correctness metrics on rated.network. We use Prometheus, Grafana and custom-built tooling for real-time monitoring and rapid incident response.
