We are proposing a number of significant updates to the Lido Oracle.

  1. Oracle smart contract. Proposed upgrade includes multiple changes to make it cheaper and easier in operations. You can take a look at it on Lido github or read more on improvements in the Lido Improvement Proposal docs. The code is undergoing external audit at the moment and could be ready for release over the next week.

  2. Oracle daemon. To use the changes in the smart contract, the daemon should be updated as well. Along with new ETH2 Oracle updates, we propose bundling in the support for the new feature: stETH price oracle.
