Ownership verification for CSM SSV validators

With the upcoming launch of CSM v2, one of the key eligibility requirements for inclusion in the initial Identified Community Staker (ICS) list is that any CSM EA Node Operator using SSV to run their validators must operate at least one of the SSV nodes in the cluster themselves.

To verify this, we ask all CSM EA Node Operators using SSV to post a message in this thread confirming that they control at least one of the SSV Operators running their CSM validators.

If none of the SSV Operators in a Node Operator’s cluster are owned by them, they will not be eligible for ICS inclusion in CSM v2.

Here is a template message to confirm ownership of the SSV Operator:

I confirm that <address> is the owner of SSV Operator <Operator name> and the owner of the CSM Node Operator #<Id>

This message should be signed using the address mentioned and posted on etherscan. A link to a signed message should be provided.

For me it isn’t worth using SSV especially after an 80% slash in rewards. I’m removing 24 validators. Should I sign a message for that??

This topic is about ownership confirmation. If you want to exit your CSM validators, you can do it anytime. If I understand correctly, you are using SSV to run your CSM validators. Here is a guide from SSV on validator exits - Exiting a validator | SSV
