Pol Lanski Delegate Thread

Summer vote! Dang it’s getting hot! Lucky the proposals for this month are fresh and not too controversial in my opinion… :ice: :soft_ice_cream:

Proposal for Updating Block Proposer Rewards Policy to Lido on Ethereum SNOP on Block Proposals v3

Forum post here

Vote: For

Rationale:

This proposal updates the policy to adapt to the reality of things. It now comprehends current situations that weren’t accounted for, plus paves the way for v3 and CSMv2.

Decision on Kyber Network’s position in the Oracle Set: rotate to Caliber or remove and change the quorum

Forum post here

Vote: Rotate Kyber to Caliber

Rationale:

In short, Kyber Network spins off their node Operations to a new entity named Caliber, which will run the infra that Kyber used to run. Imma give an example as per why this gets a yes: as a Catalan, if we spin off Spain, we’d like to keep being part of the European Union and not go through the process of having to apply again for European Union membership, which might take years and, in effect by being a part of it now we know we probably have what it takes to be a part of it.

DVT Integration Guidelines for the Curated Module Node Operators

Forum post here

Vote: Approve

Rationale:

I’ve been running DVT and non-DVT setups myself, and I cannot possibly express enough how much less stressful is to work on a DVT setup if anything goes wrong. It just makes sense that now that the technology has been proven and the data supports its effectiveness with effectiveness scores, to allow the Curated set to leverage this technology.

Vote #189

Vote: Yes

Rationale:

Huge one guys… Dual Governance is here!
