Introduction

Hello me brothas & sistas!

Long time supporter of DeFi, since the summer of 2019 when things were bleak for ETH, AAVE was a few cents per token, Uniswap was just a dream, Synthetix had an exploit, and single collateral SAI (DAI) was cool. Those were the days. Now me wonders: where has it all gone? Was the ride worth it? Aye it surely was, but there’s so much more to do. This Ethereum community has a chance to do some real good—maybe me a dreamer, or maybe just a proper fool, but that’s the hope in me heart.

Motivation

Held on to me LIDO tokens through thick and thin. Always asking, what more can they do? When me discovered that LDO can actively drive governance, (thanks to a LIDO X post), it felt like a new path opened up an opportunity for us as a community to shape our shared future. Me sees governance as more than just voting. It’s about alignment, securing the protocol, guiding its direction, and making decisions that support Ethereum’s broader DeFi ecosystem.

That’s why me humbly asks to become your LIDO Delegate. Me wants to put your tokens to good use, standing side by side with the community, guarding against misalignment, and sharing in the next chapter of Lido DAO. By stepping up proper and shouldering this responsibility, me hopes to bring passion, transparency, and fresh ideas to strengthen the protocol.

Me believes LIDO can SPARK real change across Ethereum and DeFi. By carefully studying and reviewing protocol decisions, me aims to help shape a sustainable and equitable future, one where every LDO vote counts and every contribution matters.

Lido is built by me sistas, brothas, and everyone in between. Me wants to amplify the voices that often go unheard, ensuring all who stake or hold LDO, stETH, or stMATIC feel represented. Governance shouldn’t be locked away in ivory towers me brothas and sistas. It’s meant to be an open door so we can all walk through it together, seen.

Me is like a spirited traveler. Me has roamed the DeFi landscape since the early days, seen tokens rise, protocols stumble, and communities rally back stronger. Reasoning: me strongly support the “DVT Integration Guidelines for the Curated Module Node Operators” proposal and urge fellow Lido DAO members to vote in favour of it. rolling DVT into the Curated Module lets node operators crank up resilience and rewards while keeping slashing risk in check. it be a win win for both the protocol and the stETH fam, ya feel me.

Reasoning me vote for Option 1, rotate Kyber out and slot Caliber straight into the 5 of 9 oracle set. Kyber is stepping away anyway.
