Launchnodes - Outage Incident Report

Hi All

On behalf of Launchnodes, I wanted to share our postmortem report of the outage that took place on 17-11-2023.

With the help of @KimonSh and the Lido DAO community, losses have been calculated to be 15.15ETH. We have pledged to repay this in full, to cover the losses to stakers. This will be done in 3 equal monthly instalments, to the Lido Execution Layer Rewards Vault. We will update the forum with the transaction details.

The Lido community and client teams have - as always - been incredible with support and offers of assistance while our Data Center infrastructure was being restored.

Quick update from our side, we have sent 5.05 ETH to the Lido Execution Layer Rewards Vault today as a result of this incident, and plan for 2 further transfers of the same amount.

Hi, further update from our side, we have made the 2nd 5.05 ETH transfer to the Lido Execution Layer Rewards Vault today, and plan to made the 3rd and final payment of the same amount next month. :pray:

Thank you Rajesh. I confirm that all of the compensation transactions for this incident have been sent to the Lido EL Rewards Vault as you had initially indicated.
