Reimbursement for Stakin 2023-03-07 and 2023-03-08 Ethereum Incidents

Dear Lido Community,

We regret to inform you that on March 7th and 8th, 2023, Stakin experienced two separate incidents affecting 1,000 validators.

We have thoroughly investigated the issues and have written a postmortem report, which can be accessed via the following link:

Thanks to the calculations of Lido team and estimates from Rated, we have calculated that the 2 incidents resulted in approximately 2.8811 ETH of missed staking and MEV rewards.

To compensate stakers for these issues, we have transferred 2.8811 ETH to the Lido Execution Layer Rewards Vault, 0x388C818CA8B9251b393131C08a736A67ccB19297, in the following transaction: 0xc7c4df50e0b5cdd7af811c6e3e049386aebaed6fd6d787bd2cfcb0d5b187c379.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who provided assistance and support during and after these incidents. We have taken steps to improve our processes and procedures, and we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of the Lido community.
