Unstaking Eth from Lido

Hi, I unstaked my Eth and noticed an NFT in my Ethereum account. I don’t know if the NFT is legit or a scam. Assistance please.

You get one when you start the withdrawal process. You can find more info here

I received what I believe is a message from Lido. logged on and a representative wants me
to type in my 24 word passphrase to stop receiving scam NFT’s. This doesn’t sound right.
Assistance please.

Do not give your passphrase to anyone. That “lido representative” is a scammer.

You can connect your wallet here to see the status of your withdrawal. Withdrawals | Lido

If you share your wallet address I can help you further if you’d like.

@gdr1123, I connected my wallet but logged into the incorrect ETH. I already went through the process to unstake my ETH. All that shows is this scam NFT. An unstated ETH account shows nothing. I have screenshots of what I did to unstack my ETH.

If you send me your wallet address I can help you.

Those screenshots would help as well. thanks

It’s indeed a scam.

Once you submit a withrawal request, you would receive a Lido withdrawal NFT to represent your right to claim ETH later. Once the request is fulfilled, you can claim it. We have a step-by-step guide for you: How do I unstake my stETH? | Lido: Help

Hi satBalwyn,

I went through the Lido/Eth withdrawal from my Ledger. I think an NFT was shown and I was supposed to drag it somewhere. The NFT you mentioned is a scam. I don’t have my stacked ETH in my ledger and thought I sent it to Lido. I have checked Debank and both my stacked Eth and NFT appear. I received an email like yours that mentioned Lido support and was connected with a scammer.
I will try another attempt but I am skeptical of Lido support. I don’t believe how difficult Lido has made this process.

Paul

can you check if your ETH is ready to claim on the claim page: Withdrawals | Lido

I think an NFT was shown and I was supposed to drag it somewhere.
didn’t get your point? what do you mean dragging here?

I think this is a scam email

Hi satBalwyn,
The problem is that someone at Lido support told me the NFT I received was a scam.
How will the address read so I know it isn’t a scam website? I am suspicious of Lido
links after my last encounter.

Paul

Hi satBalwyn,

I contacted LIdo support and she was helpful. However, I hesitated when she said that I needed to connect my wallet with an encryption process to claim my ETH. I had to input my 24-word phrases and stopped right there. Is this the process Lido has set up to receive unstacked Eth? This is crazy.

Paul

No, I questioned when I was asked for my 24 seed phrase to input into encrypted wallet on
Lido website.

Please don’t trust anyone asking you to input your seed phrase. They are definitely scammers!
