1. Identification

: : FP Validated is the validator arm of Four Pillars, an independent institutional research house based in Korea. Over the past three years, Four Pillars has published more than 500 multilingual research pieces in collaboration with 100+ partners and hosted 20+ institutional seminars for government agencies, policymakers, banks, and fintech companies, establishing itself as one of Asia’s leading research firms.

The FP Validated team brings together professional node operators and governance specialists with 3–6+ years of experience, alongside some of Asia’s top protocol specialists. We contribute to the networks we support not only through reliable node operations, but also through active governance participation, research-driven insights, and ecosystem engagement. Leveraging this depth and our extensive enterprise and institutional relationships, we are rapidly building trusted, institutional-grade staking infrastructure across Asia.

2. Business Case

Four Pillars is recognized across Asia for its distinctive research capabilities and institutional distribution network. Backed by this foundation and our institutional-grade infrastructure standards, we plan to drive initiatives grounded in actionable insights for institutions seeking to adopt stVaults.

To date, Four Pillars has delivered more than 20 seminars and advisory engagements for leading institutions — particularly in Korea — including government bodies, policymakers, banks, and fintech companies. As Korea’s pro-crypto regulatory framework is expected to materialize toward late 2026 to early 2027, we intend to align with this timeline and position ourselves as a trusted partner for institutions, providing actionable insights across the full pipeline from stETH exposure to diversified staking strategies.

2.1 Overview

Four Pillars proposes a Research-Accompanied stVaults framework built on Lido V3, integrating institutional-grade staking infrastructure with a structured research and governance layer.

Ethereum staking is fundamentally permissionless—any participant can access the infrastructure and earn yield. However, from an institutional investor’s perspective, several structural gaps remain:

  • While yield is generated, the underlying return mechanics and associated risks are not systematically interpreted or contextualized.

  • Changes in the Ethereum roadmap and EIP pipeline are rarely translated into clear implications for staking economics in a consistent and (local) investor-aligned format.

  • Governance participation is technically open, yet the contextual understanding required for meaningful engagement presents a high barrier to entry.

In other words, staking is permissionless at the protocol level, but accountability and governance alignment from an investor perspective are not yet sufficiently structured.

Most existing stVaults integrations focus primarily on infrastructure provisioning, yield optimization strategies, or operational flexibility.

Four Pillars proposes a differentiated approach:

An institutional staking model that goes beyond passive yield exposure—integrating regional context, strategic interpretation, and governance alignment.
