Welcome to our first monthly news in 2024, where we keep you up to date about our activities to create a safe Ethereum environment.
DATA PROCESSING
We added another data processing center into our service infrastructure which also entails a new process accessing this center. This proofed very succesful and enhances our resources significantly. We will start decentralizing Lido resources into these new structures soon.
SSV & OBOL LIDO TESTS
We continued our comprehensive, in-depth testing for Lido’s integration of SVV SSV and OBOL. The tests are still running very well, but are not finalized yet.
NODE UPDATES
Also, we conducted extensive rolling node updates to ensure that all clients‘ versions are up to date.
NO MEV AND MISSED BLOCKS INVESTIGATIONS
One validator client missed blocks from time to time, and sporadically proposed normal blocks instead of MEV blocks. This problem concerned one single validator client only and has since been fixed: we resolved the issue by updating services as well as OS on affected machines.
The same issue happended on another validator client which we are currently observing to resolve this in a timely matter.
UPGRADE OF ESSENTIAL TOOLS & SERVICES
For EJECTOR we are testing if Lido validators are leaving the blockchain in the correct and orderly way when advised to do so. Problems that occurred here have been fixed. We are still analyzing measurements of how to further improve this part of our Lido infrastructure.
Parallel to that we upgraded KAPI (a service to gain necessary information about validators).
