• contributed ssv-dkg into ethereum.nix package repository: ssv-dkg: init at 2.1.0 by jhvst · Pull Request #542 · nix-community/ethereum.nix · GitHub
• initiated upgrade of ssvnode to v2 into ethereum.nix package repository: ssvnode: 1.3.8 -> 2.0.0 by jhvst · Pull Request #547 · nix-community/ethereum.nix · GitHub (we also seemingly found a bug in the upstream ssv repository: OpenSSL dlopen causes panic on NixOS · Issue #1765 · ssvlabs/ssv · GitHub)
• we have created a PR in which we added a new CSM staking node into our cluster: kaakkuri-ephemeral-alpha: init by tupakkatapa · Pull Request #88 · ponkila/homestaking-infra · GitHub
• we created a document page which explains a new CSM node setup in Nix here: HomestakerOS/docs/lido_csm.md at lido-csm-testnet · ponkila/HomestakerOS · GitHub
• we initiated a new software package to verify Lido deposits in SSV without using the centralized SSV gateway: HomestakerOS/packages/lido-csm-ssv/decoding_json_abi.rs at lido-csm-testnet · ponkila/HomestakerOS · GitHub and HomestakerOS/packages/lido-csm-ssv/event.sh at lido-csm-testnet · ponkila/HomestakerOS · GitHub (but this still needs to be properly package – it could work as an alternative to GitHub - RaekwonIII/ssv-automate when node runners want to use their own RPC to verify the result)

Overall, our system configurations in NixOS can be eventually found from our node repository at GitHub - ponkila/homestaking-infra: Ethereum home-staking infrastructure powered by Nix. This works as a public and transparent way to people to see how a cluster of homestaking machines can be operated.

We plan to eventually upstream the changes to our HomestakerOS project GitHub - ponkila/HomestakerOS: A web UI for generating Linux images for Ethereum homestaking which is a Linux distribution to run homestaking machines. We plan to have Lido CSM as a turnkey option in HomestakerOS, but further work is still required to make it hassle-free.
