GM Lido Community!
We’re working in a grant proposal to create educational content and community engagement in Latin America.
One-Liner:
In depth report, weekly updates in our newsletter, livestream and videos about Lido’s technology such as Staking Modules, Lido DAO, Lido Dual Governance, Lido CSM,Lido V2.
Introduction:
At Kairos Research we analyze and research web3 projects and provide high quality resources to the Spanish-speaking community in Latam. Validated by the biggest projects on web3 and goverment.
Latam is the second largest region increasing YoY with 42.5%. Only 5% of the population in the region speaks or understands English, which leaves many users in the region unable to interact with protocols, as there are no easy-to-understand resources in their native language.
Primary Audience Segments
- Web3 Curious Builders
- Demographic: Latin American women and men, aged 20–35
- Profession: Software developers, engineers, or technical roles in tech startups.
- Behavior:
- Some are experimenting with smart contracts or front-end dApps
- Active in online dev communities (Discords, Telegram groups, Twitter)
- Interested in learning more about blockchain, but overwhelmed by jargon or lack of Spanish-language resources
- DeFi Explorers & Web3 Community Members
- Demographic: Latin American women and men, aged 25–45
- Profession: Freelancers, entrepreneurs, community leads, DAO contributors, or non-technical crypto users
- Behavior:
- Interact regularly or sporadically with DeFi apps
- Use wallets, have staked or swapped tokens before
- Participate in IRL events ,meetups, Twitter Spaces
After having conversations with more than 30 communities across Latin America, we have identified the following pain points:
- Language Barrier: Most quality resources are in English; this limits comprehension and onboarding
- Overcomplexity: Educational content often assumes high technical knowledge, alienating newcomers
- Fear of Loss: High fear of financial risk due to lack of step-by-step guidance
- Lack of Trust: Skeptical about DeFi protocols due to scams or unclear documentation
- Missing Context: They don’t just need “how”, they need “why this matters to me in Latam”
Proposal Outline:
To solve this problem, we will take three initiatives: weekly updates on the ecosystem in our newsletter; an in-depth report on the sandbox ecosystem to provide a clear and simple understanding of what it is, how it works, and how it is governed; and how does its token work?; a one-page report to facilitate rapid user onboarding in the region; and educational videos about the ecosystem. The details are broken down below:
-
Weekly Lido Updates
- Objective: Share the latest developments and updates in the Lido’s ecosystem with the Latam communities
- We will create an specifically section to share this weekly updates though out newsletter named “Lupa Web3” and our weekly livestream. We will share updates about Lido DAO and the protocol.
-
In-depth Report
- Objective: Create a comprehensive in depth report about Lido ecosystem
- Lido’s governance
- Staking Modules
- Lido decentralization
- One pager
- The report will be distributed via our newsletter and social media channels (X, LinkedIn, newsletter and our website).
Note: Our reports are carried out by a trained research team with track record, during the process we analyze and reduce the technical complexity, but it is a fundamental part of our work and we are not looking for a simple translation.
- Objective: Create a comprehensive in depth report about Lido ecosystem
-
Educational videos
Objective: We will create different format of videos promoting the use of Lido CSM modules, participate in governance and explaining some primitives behind Lido in our social networks.
- What is Lido?
- Lido DAO
- Lido Dual Governance
- Staking Modules
- Lido CSM
- Lido V2
